MISSION STATEMENT

The New England Walking Horse Association was founded for the purpose of promoting the Tennessee Walking Horse and being an educational resource for Tennessee Walking Horse owners.  To this end, we do not offer any club year-end awards, but we will assist club members in developing divisions for walking horses in their own local, state, and regional associations, both show and trail. We offer clinics and newsletters that will be educationally based and geared to meet the needs of club members. We will be active in regional exhibitions.

 The club is chartered as an educational nonprofit, and business will be conducted by a Board of Directors with one director from each state.  The officers will be elected by the membership.  Any elections or bylaws changes will be done by a mail-in ballot, as we understand members often desire to have input but may not be able to attend meetings.  If you are interested in fun, promotion, and learning more about Tennessee Walking Horses, we are the club for you!
